This is a great looking and atmospheric antique oil painting. It is of the interior of a large building like a church or cathedral. Two figures stand in the foreground. Its sits within a gilt gesso frame and is signed to the lower right. Unfortunately I can't make of the signature. There is a small tear on right of the painting and it has had a repair at some stage of its life but this doesn't take away from its great look (see pics) 64cm x 54cm including frame.
